SIGNINGWORKS is a Sign Language Agency based in Bristol founded by Clare Reed and Kathy Turner. Established to provide clients with a high standard of BSL/English interpreting and communication services, we set up after consultation with the Deaf and interpreting community and we continue to work closely with them to ensure that our business provides a high quality range of services. These include BSL/Eng interpreting, relay interpreting, translation work, provision of Deaf presenters and Deaf Awareness Training. In addition we can provide speech to text, deafblind interpreting, lipspeakers, and notetakers.We offer a quality service to all our clients by supplying highly qualified and experienced professionals. Each one has the experience and expertise to work in a variety of specialised and general domains.Our commitment to customer satisfaction is our driving force. We strive to achieve the highest standards for all our clients through an individual, and personally tailored service. We do not charge a booking fee

We only charge expenses at cost
We only charge for travelling time if agreed with you (the client) in advance

We were very pleased with the service Signing Works provided. We called at short notice, which didn’t pose a problem. We received a professional and friendly service. We would definitely use Signing Works again, should the need arise.

I find their sign language interpreting services very speedy and efficient.
All text messages that I have sent through have been acknowledged and responded to very quickly. I find Clare always endeavour to ask around if unable to cover herself.
Invoices are sent through promptly and itemised clearly.
Booking reference forms are sent through within a short timescale after booking request has been made.
Kathy provides a very professional administrative service.
Signing Works is overall an efficient and reliable service.

I have been using SigningWorks for nearly a year now quite regularly. Working in a busy mental health team for deaf people, it's been invaluable having a service we can totally rely on to arrange our numerous interpreter bookings each week - the service has saved us hours in trying to find individual interpreters.

They have been very professional, efficient and have made the billing system as user friendly as it could be.
